dr Ginta Peterson – pedagoggue of eurhythmics in Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music and Emīls Dārzins Music School.
Graduated from Jāzeps Vītolas Latvian Academy of Music professional master's degree in music (2007), completed studies at the Music and Movement Pedagogy and Music Therapy Department of the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts (2007) and RTTEMA doctoral study program „Pedagogy”, scientific doctorate in pedagogy in the field of music pedagogy (2014)
Participated with a presentation at the: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6th International Conference of Dalcroze Studies in: Vienna /Austria (2015), Quebec /Canada/ (2017), Katowice /Poland/ (2019), Japan – Online (2021); Pittsburgh /USA/ (2023), in the rhythmic workshops in Dresden „Resonanz-Distanz” (2022), in Conducted workshops at the 26th EAS International Conference „Competence in Music Education” in Jelgava (2018), in the World Congress of Rhythmics in Geneva (2015), the 2nd Dalcroze conference ICDS2 in the international symposium „Hearing Room” in Vienna (2012), the European Congress of Rhythmics in Vienna (2009), international conferences in Vilnius, Šiauliai, Riga, Daugavpils, In Rezekne, etc.
Publications on rhythmics at international scientific conferences, etc. in stock. Has led many master classes in rhythmics at diferent courses and seminars in Latvia, as well as at the University of Music in Vienna, the University of Bergen, the University of Pedagogy in Vilnius, the University of Music in Reykjavik.
Since 1992, she has been leading the mixed choir of Babīte region „Atskaņa”. They have performed several times in Germany, Denmark, Austria, Czech Republic. Norway, Portugal.
Author of children's songs, dances and games, e.g. „The Tale of Half-Forged – Ķēmrausīti and Vējamilzi” (2001). by „Likteņstāsti”, the book of poetry „I want to be in a hurry” the collection of exercises "Moving songs”.
