DOM STUDENCKI NR 2 „SONATA” / DORMITORY NO. 2 „SONATA”
Dormitory No. 2 „Sonata” (Dom Studencki nr 2 „Sonata”) is located in a 4-storey historical 19th-century building on the campus of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk at ul. Łąkowa 1-2 (see LOCATION), at a distance:
- 400 m from the Old Town
- 400 m from the Polish Baltic Philharmonic
- 2 km from the Main Railway Station in Gdańsk
- 12 km from the airport
There are student cafeterias on the campus: Jazz Food Bistro Band and Bistro Muza, and Restaurant „Harmonia”.
ROOMS
Number of rooms: 55, including:
- 12 single rooms
- 18 double rooms
- 25 triple rooms
Total number of places: 123
All rooms are furnished, have a bathroom with shower, landline telephone, TV and WiFi.
In addition, we provide: KITCHENS, LAUNDRY ROOM, practice ROOM.
DEPOSIT
During the summer holidays, each student has the option of placing 2 cardboard boxes in the deposit for a fee of 10 PLN per one piece.
PARKING
Parking is paid according to the price list. The annual fee for students is 40 PLN (the parking card can be purchased at the Administration and Economic Department (room 111 / level 0 / red building aMuz) at Ewa Gazda's.
ACCESS BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Direct access to DS No. 2 from the Main Train Station:
bus line 178 (route: Dworzec Główny 12 → Akademia Muzyczna 04) / 6 minutes
tram lines 8 and 9 (route: Dworzec Główny 02 → Akademia Muzyczna 02) / 9 minutes
bus lines 106 and 111 (route: Dworzec Główny 12 → Academy of Music 04) / 11 minutes
The proximity of tram and bus stops makes it easy to reach any place in the Tricity from DS No. 2.
SECURITY
There is a 24-hour gatehouse on the campus. The area is closed and monitored.
